Young Actor Headshots

Young actors need headshots as much as any working performer. Whether they have aspirations to enter film, TV or the stage, having a great headshot will help them on their way to castings. Great child actors are in high demand for commercial roles as well whether on TV or online. We genuinely love working with young actors and performers to get great headshots for them. Our sessions often mix studio and environmental looks for more variety.

As a father of two extrovert children, apparently a big kid myself  and with 12 years experience of photographing people of all ages, I believe I am very well placed to capture great child actors headshots.

Stress Free & No Pressure

Every headshot session is pressure and stress free as well as being fast-moving with plenty of chat and activities to ensure boredom doesn’t kick in. We create a pressure free environment which leads to a greater range of headshots.

For those that are easily distracted, my ‘4 looks in 7 minutes’ system can work very well to create a range of great headshots in a short period of time and allow the ‘subjects’ to take a break and do something less boring instead! We then repeat the ‘7 minutes’ a few times to get a great range of shots.

Big variety from every session

Young Actors headshots sessions are up to an hour-long which is plenty of time to get a number of looks and a range of images. The environment of a photo shoot can be daunting for the most experienced actor so it can be a bit daunting for the younger ones too. Having said that, many come in, pop them selves on the seat and confidently hit their mark every time!

As child actors need to have their headshots updated more often than the grown ups, we offer a discounted return rate once you have had your initial shoot.

Our young actors headshot sessions include three final images available in both colour and B&W. You get these in high-resolution for printing and low resolution for sharing online on Mandy, Spotlight, etc.

Following every shoot, you have access to a private gallery of all the best images from the shoot. With young actors, we often keep in the ‘out takes’ as they can be really fun! From this you can choose your final selection. Turnaround time is really fast so if you have a casting or a meeting coming up, we can get your headshots to you very fast.
